At Buena, Sunnyside put together a 28-point second quarter to defeat the Colts on a rainy night in Sierra Vista. Senior running back Manny Aguilar rushed for 131 yards and one touchdown on 16 carries. Junior Alfred Leon added rushing and receiving scores.

Sunnyside (3-3) scored on four of six possessions in the second quarter and held the Colts (1-5) to 109 yards total yards of offense in the game.

• Highlight reel: Sunnyside senior quarterback Jesus Vega found junior receiver Marty Calles between the safeties for a 70-yard TD pass in the second.

• Player of the game: Vega finished with 185 yards and two touchdowns on 8-of-12 passing.
